We’re located in Southern Vermont, in the charming, historic village of Arlington. We’re surrounded by some of the most beautiful country in New England, in a valley between the Green Mountains and the Taconic Range. Our most famous resident was Norman Rockwell, and you’ll quickly see how he became inspired to create some of America’s most loved illustrations. One of the most famous trout streams in the world, the Battenkill, flows right through our hamlet. We fish the Battenkill, the Walloomsac River, and the Mettowee River. Anglers will have the opportunity to catch brown, rainbow, and brook trout, most of which are crafty wild fish. Luring these smart survivors onto your hook is a Vermont fly fishing experience you’ll never forget.
Arlington is an old town. It was chartered in 1761 and was the capital of the Vermont Republic.
